What Are Dreams?
July 28th, 2008 Filed Under General
Dreams to me is the most important thing in life! Next to air, water, sunshine and love!
To me, dream is not about thinking. Dream is not about calculations. Dreams is not about achieving your broad goals in life. Dreams are not about writing a feasibility report. And most definitely, dreams are not fantasies. In our context here, the dream that we are referring to is also not the dream that you had last night when you were sleeping. It is rather difficult to define dream in one sentence. Let me try to explain what dream is by giving an example.
As an example, a scientist or an engineer thinks of a project. That is pure thinking. He then starts to formulate ideas, concepts, visions. These are the ingredients that goes into the process of a dream. If he does this alone, it is just a dream! If he starts to share it with somebody, this dream starts to become reality!
Remember Newton? A great inventor and scientist. He did not invent gravity! He must have done lots of thinking. He must have done lots of calculations. All these is not dream. Just pure thinking. However, while sitting under an apple tree, he started to dream. That’s what day dreaming is all about, because he did that during the day! Probably, his dream was only for a few seconds. Viola! that short dream turned to reality, when an apple fall on to his head. See, when you dream alone, it is only a dream, but when you dream with others, reality begins. In this case, ‘others’ is the apple tree.
For many years I dream of running my car on water. It was just a dream and nothing materializes. However, when I start to share this dream with people around me new ideas crop up. New avenues to get information on it appears. More information pour in. Somehow, we surely can get the information we want. Today I have the full set of blueprint on how to convert my car to run it on water! So, dreams can be made to come true!
Can you see how dream can become reality? So, this has led me to ponder on the power of dream. It is thus an important thing in life that sets us in motion. However, can we live without having your own dreams? I think we can. Live on the dreams of others. What I mean here is, you here of somebody expressing his dream. An idea starts to formulate in your head. Then things will start to move, leading from one thing to another.
I have heard people saying, “I don’t have dreams”. He is not wrong. To begin with we actually don’t have anything. Are we not just a lump of flesh and that nothing within us belongs to us? Even our names were given by our parents. (you can’t claim it is your name
). All that goes into us is the process of ‘interactions’. Be it biochemical, physical, psychological… and all the whatever…cal, it has to ‘interact’ to produce results. I guess, these are what we are made of!
I believe that, when two mind interacts, there appears the ‘third’ mind! Anybody out there do not agree with me?
On this foundation of believe, our group ‘Make Our Dreams Come True’ was created for the purpose of making anybody’s dreams come true. This is an open platform for the whole world! Anybody can join. Anybody can write anything. Anybody can leave anytime. No restriction whatsoever. We sincerely hope that we use this wisely and refrain from abuse.
Sometime, a simple dream can lead to positive changes. Let us all spend some of our waking hours to dream. Let us all make this world a better place to live. Let’s live in peace and harmony. We might not be able to change the world overnight. But we can change our mindset. Slowly and surely, if we begin to change, the whole would change too!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN : Why I created this blog

HOW IT ALL BEGAN : Why I created this blog MAKE OUR DREAM COME TRUE.
For many years, even before the price hike, I dream of running my car on water. My dream is coming to reality when I started sharing this dream. Today, Goodbye petrol, Goodbye diesel, Goodbye Petrol Stations.
” When we are dreaming alone it is only a dream. When we are dreaming with others, it is the beginning of reality.” – Dom Helder Camara
From this simple dream, a group “MAKE OUR DREAM COME TRUE” was created in FB. Now, from across the globe people have come to join. They share their dreams. It is proven that when you start sharing your dreams, reality sets in. Just like when two stones strikes, a spark is formed. Likewise, when 2 minds interacts, a “3rd mind” appears. This gives birth to an idea, a concept, an innovation, an invention…etc. Imagine when a million mind interacts!
We can live in peace. We can live in harmony. We can make this world a better place for us now and also for our future generation.

Why Small Businesses Should Have Their Own Blog
July 21st, 2008 Filed Under General
Blogs totally and forever changed the online world. These online journals (or "web logs") made it possible for millions of people to post their ideas on the web. What made them new was the capability for millions more to respond with comments. Essentially, blogs took the Internet superhighway and turned it into a two-way street.
You may be thinking, "This is an interesting social phenomenon. But I have a small business to run. What are blogs to me? Should my small business have a blog?" Yes. Yes, it should. And there are at least three excellent reasons why small businesses should have their own blog.
A Blog Puts Your Small Business on the Web
Your small business needs to have a presence on the web. And a blog is the easiest way to accomplish that. Blogs are much simpler (and cheaper) to set up and maintain than a website. Thousands of great-looking templates make your business look professional without paying big bucks for a graphic designer. You can be up and running with a blog in just hours.
A Blog Positions Your Small Business as an Authority
Blogs have a way of making you an authority in your readers’ eyes. By intelligently discussing the trends in your industry or posting insightful case studies of recent work, you are seen as a knowledgable expert. Plus it gives you a venue to showcase accomplishments and awards your small business has received.
A Blog Lets Your Small Business Interact With Customers
The greatest thing about blogs is the ability to leave comments. Readers can respond to what you have written, you can reply to their comments, and a conversation of sorts begins. You will learn more about the demographics of your potential customers. More importantly, you will begin to understand their wants and needs more fully. Ordinarily, you probably couldn’t afford market research this good. With a blog, it’s like running focus groups 24 hours a day on autopilot.
One thing you should know before jumping in–blogs don’t grow by themselves. Simply installing WordPress won’t do the job. Someone in your small business needs to have the passion and the knowhow to write the short articles that make up your blog’s content. If you fail to post to your small business blog regularly, your readers and customers will lose interest and drift away.
Customers who read blogs are usually early adopter types. They like to be in the lead. And if you sell them on your small business, they’ll share what they know with others. They’ll become salesmen and evangelists for your small business. Imagine what that could do for your bottom line.
